TUESDAY AM ANNOUNCEMENTS – SEPTEMBER 3, 2019

 

Welcome Back to School Tigers!!

The following students need to see Ms. Andrew in the front office: Faith Hackett, Andrew Doney, Brayan Ramirez

 

The MHS Drama Club welcomes everyone back and invites interested students who'd like to help with the play or musical on crew or to audition as a performer to attend a general meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 10th after school in room 1. The general meeting will only introduce officers and talk about upcoming activities. See Mrs. Leurquin (lurk-win) in room 1 if you have any questions or cannot attend the meeting.

 

The Drama Club will be performing 'Radium Girls' - a play about the true history of the dial-painters exposed to Radium in the early 1920s and their fight for justice - in November. All are welcome to audition for the play - those who've performed before, and those who are new to the stage. To audition for the fall play, please attend the audition workshop afterschool on Thursday, Sept. 12th in the auditorium. This is a MANDATORY meeting - if you have a conflict or cannot attend, you must speak with Mrs. Leurquin afterschool on Friday, Sept. 13th (the meeting will only run about 15 minutes). A Q & A session about auditions and the play will be held afterschool in the auditorium on Friday, Sept. 13th, and will run about 45 minutes to an hour.

 

Welcome Back Tigers! Pathway Partners is holding its first activity of the year - Wednesday, September 4th after school. All are welcome to join, stop by the Pathway Partners office, room 135 for more details!
