Students reminder to return checked out Chromebooks by the end of today. Please do not leave in lockers over break.

 

Just as a reminder, today is the last day of Youth Net programming before Christmas break! It will remain closed between December 24th – January 4th .  Programming will resume on January 7th.

 

 

Today is the last day to turn in those overdue library books and have the fine taken care of for you by the holiday elf!

 

Congratulations to AP Human Geography Geo-Fantasy Fall League winners: 1st place Ryan Paulman, 2nd place Adam Loll, 3rd place Zachary Gunning, 4th place Hunter Gwynn, 5th place Sabrina Arnez. Maintain your scouting research as our Winter Fantasy League draft will take place the 2nd week of January.

Cancelled classes for today are: Mrs. Spoerl, and Mr. Messerli's period 3-9. Periods 1-3 & 8-9 students in grades 9& 10 should report to the LMC and students in grades 11 & 12 are to report to the commons. Period 4-7 all students are to report to the LMC.

Attention MHS students...tomorrow Student Council will be having its ugly sweater competition during the lunch hours.  A reminder that hats that potentially go with sweaters are not permitted and sweaters should also be appropriate and still fall in line with dress code policy.

 

The NHS meeting today will be in the LMC NOT the Lecture Hall. Members are reminded to bring a canned good or donation.

Seniors-do you have a financial hardship that is holding you back from getting seniors pictures?  If so, please check you school email for more information.  There is a deadline of this Wednesday morning.

 

Reminder to MCLA students we have a mural planning meeting with Mr. Bergelin at 7:10 tomorrow morning in the lecture hall.

 

The MHS Softball teams are going to be selling 2 1/2 Cups cupcakes after school TODAY for $2.  Bring your appetite!

 

Testing Center will be closed after school on Monday, December 17th. Please plan accordingly

Fall play students are invited to sign the wall afterschool Friday this week or next week on Thursday Dec. 20th afterschool. You must turn in your script in order to sign the wall in the auditorium.

MHS Robotics teams did well at competition over the weekend. Team 27905A consisting of Grace Ainsworth, Allie Bacholl, Zoey Rice and Tyler Hood took runner-up for the Design award. Team 27905B consisting of Aiden Vandre, Evan Grassman, and Austin Tysver made it to the quarter-finals in a 32 team competition bracket.

The Gay-Straight Alliance will be having their annual bake sale after school Thursday in the commons. Stop in and buy some tasty treats.

 

The Shake Shack is back. The special education students are making protein shakes for their restaurant The Shake Shack. The flavor of the week is Mint Chocolate Chip and Cookies and Cream. We will be down in the commons from 10:30-11:45. on Thursday December 13th. A $1.00 donation would be appreciated per shake. Proceeds benefit the students! Hope to see you there! Bring your friends. 😊
