MONDAY PM ANNOUNCEMENTS – SEPTEMBER 16, 2019

THERE WILL BE A MANDATORY GIRLS SWIMMING MEETING IN THE KNAPP ROOM AT 3PM AFTER SCHOOL TODAY.

 

The first art club meeting of the year is this Tuesday after school in room 39. We will be discussing plans for this year. Bring ideas and friends!

 

Any student who is still interested in joining FCCLA should see Mrs. MacArthur for a membership form. We will be assembling a float for the Homecoming Parade next week.

 

Would the students who have parking passes the following parking pass numbers please see Mrs. Kvernen in the office as soon as possible: 186, 187, 402, 403

 

Congratulations to the top 10 teams in Mr. Treankler's Geo-Political Fantasy League training camp. Top Human Geography teams include: Isaac Eberl & Alli Lossman tied for 1st, Macy Perrine 2nd place, Loic Lehner & Richard Gui tie for 3rd, Aubrey Kelnhofer 4th place, Jetli Yang & Drake White-Bergey tied in 5th, Jane Fu 6th place, and Maren Hamill in 7th place to round out the top 10 finishers. Let the games begin!

 

Please turn in team registration, fee, and concussion forms for PowderBuff to Coach Sadowska as soon as possible.

 

Seniors! Class of 2020! There will be a class meeting Wednesday morning at 7:30 in Mrs. Lemoine's Room, 36.

Freshman class: We need you to attend the class meeting Tuesday after school in room 64 to make plans for homecoming! See Ms. Spoerl or Mrs. Kumm for more details!

 

AP Students- AP exam registration has kicked off! To avoid any late fees, you must complete the two step AP exam process by October 30. Once again the Blanchard AP scholarship will be available for students with financial need to apply to. Scholarship applications can be picked up from your AP teacher, the counseling office or the AP website. The application, which includes the FAFSA4caster results is due in the counseling office by Friday, October 4.

 

AP Students: Mrs. Guldan will be in the commons next week Thursday and Friday to answer any AP exam questions or to assist with any problems with your myap website.

 

Interested in improving your speaking and argumentation skills? Mock Trial allows you to grow while gaining a better understanding of our criminal justice system. Our first meeting is Monday, September 16th after school in room 12. See Ms. Mahoney if you have questions or cannot attend but are interested.
