Attention MHS students...the Student Council Spring Blood Drive will occur on Wednesday April 3rd in the new gym from 8-1:30!  Student Council members will be available during lunch hours if you are interested in signing up or have any questions!

 

Attention Seniors: many scholarship application deadlines are approaching. Please review the scholarship website on the high school webpage for active scholarships. There are a few applications, including the Marshfield Area Community Foundation Scholarship Application, that are due during or right after spring break. Please be aware of deadlines and make plans accordingly; school personnel may not be available via email over spring break. If you have already started an application with the Community Foundation, make sure to return to your started application to finish it. All Community Foundation scholarships require a letter of recommendation and a high school transcript, and the completed application is due Sunday, March 31st, 2019. To request your high school transcript, please list Mrs. Burkhart’s email in your application so it can be uploaded electronically directly to your application. If you have any questions regarding scholarships, please contact Mrs. Salzmann.

New Announcements:

Attention FFA members, our March FFA meeting will be at Roger's Cinema tonight beginning at 6 pm. We'll start with our meeting and follow with the movie in our own private theater showing Captain Marvel! Cost to all FFA members is $3, with the FFA picking up the rest. That includes movie, popcorn and soda. The movie runs 2 hours, so we should be finished at about 8:30.

Our NASP Archers competed in the Augusta Archery Tournament this weekend.  Congratulations to our top 5 High School Archers who each also shot their all-time best scores this weekend:  Jeremiah Apsey, Antonio Anaya, Eli Junco, Hannah Junco and Daniel Gauerke

 

There will be a taste test for students taking place during all lunches in the cafeteria today, Monday March 18th. Stop down and try a chicken taquito with your choice of dipping sauce!

We are looking for two student speakers for graduation day 2019. Seniors who are interested in speaking at the graduation ceremony will need to sign up in the main office and pick up an information sheet with more information. Students who are interested must sign up no later than noon on Friday, April 19th. Additional information will be provided to those who sign up or see Mr. Wilhelm with questions.
