This week Marshfield FFA is celebrating FFA week and each day we would like you to participate in a trivia contest. Each day 2 winners will be selected from the correct answers and each winner will receive a $5 Marshfield Area of Commerce Gift Certificate. The daily winners of the next 5 days will be eligible for a drawing of a $75 gift certificate. You can turn your answers in to Mr. Zee or Mr. Heeg in room 80 and 26. Today question is “How many pounds of milk does it take to make one gallon of ice cream?”

Our NASP Archers competed this weekend in both Bullseye and 3D competitions in the Stratford Archery Tournament at the Marshfield Mall. Our top 5 Bullseye High School Archers were: Jeremiah Apsey, Mckenzie Wilsmann, Joe Scheuer, Lindsey Tyrolt and Eli Junco. Our first time shooting as a team in a 3-D tournament resulted in bringing home 3rd place! Our top five 3-D High School Archers were: Jeremiah Apsey, McKenzie Wilsmann, Lindsey Tyrolt, Antonio Anaya and Joe Scheuer. Great Job, Archers!

Is $94 per AP exam something you and your family worry about paying? If you have financial hardship with paying for your AP Exam or Exams and you do not qualify for free or reduced lunch, please complete the Blanchard AP Scholarship application and the FAFSA4Caster by 3 pm this Friday. Applications can be picked up in the HS Counseling Office or printed from the AP Website. A completed scholarship application does included your FAFSA4Caster results, directions on how to complete the FAFSA4Caster are included on the scholarship application. The summer school enrollment window opened for juniors yesterday and will open at 4 PM today for sophomores. Sign in to your Skyward student access account and click on the Arena Scheduling tab to enroll in summer school classes.

Attention Juniors, The testing location rosters have been posted outside of the Counseling Office and a copy has also been given to your English Teacher. Please see Ms. Bishop in the front office if you have questions.

Attention all MHS students:  The Pennies for Patients Fundraiser is still going on through next week Friday.  You can donate money to your 2nd hour homeroom.  The homeroom that donates the most money will win a breakfast prize, and the runner-up will also win a small food prize.  All proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards the fight against Leukemia and Lymphoma.

 

The February FFA meeting will be held in the ag room Monday night, February 18th beginning at 7 pm, with Pizza, soda, and casino night activities following the meeting.  Festivities will conclude at 9 pm

Taking an AP Exam in May?  AP Exam registration forms are now available from your AP teacher or the counseling office.  Exams cost $94.  You only need one exam registration form completed no matter how many AP exams you will take.  Turn in completed exam forms and correct money by March 8 in the counseling office.

 

Blanchard AP Scholarship Applications are now available in the counseling office or on the AP Website.  Any student who doesn't qualify for free or reduced lunch and has a financial need for paying AP exams should apply!  Completed applications that include FAFSA4caster results are due in the counseling office by the end of the day February 22.
