New Announcements:

Ms. Pagel's classes are cancelled today. During periods 1-3 & 8-9 students in grades 9& 10 should report to the LMC and students in grades 11 & 12 are to report to the commons. During Periods 4-7 all students are to report to the LMC.

 

Attention Juniors: We still have some openings for the Pre-ACT! Please see Ms. Bishop in the front office to sign up, the cost is $13.00. You will have until THIS FRIDAY, October 19th to sign up. This is a great way to prepare for the required ACT coming up in February.

 

Wonderland Workshops this week after school Thursday & Friday in Mr. Treankler's room.

 

Code Club will meet Friday after school in room 71. We will assign competitive events and begin development, and also open up our Makerspace for creativity and innovation fun.

 

Our next HOSA meeting will be scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 18th. 7:30 am!

 

Who doesn't like donuts? Be eligible to win some – participate in Pathway Partner's Career Costume Contest Wednesday, October 31. 3 easy steps to participate – 1. dress up in the career costume of your choice, 2. stop by Mrs. Sternweis in the Pathway Partners Office (room 135) to have your picture taken, & 3. VOTE, and then tell your friends/family to vote for your picture on the School District of Marshfield Facebook page.

 

Attention Seniors: Mid-State Technical College (MSTC) will be holding a free application day this coming Thursday, October 18th. A representative from MSTC will be in the counseling office during lunch hours. If you are considering applying to Mid-State, stop in on Thursday and take advantage of this opportunity to save $30. The representative will also be able to answer any questions you may have. If you need a pass for the event, please see Mrs. Burkhart.

NHS meeting Wednesday after school in the Lecture Hall. Please remember your meeting donation of canned goods or cash. Juniors who still need to pay their $10 dues can do so at the meeting.

Previously Read Announcements:

The special education students are making protein shakes for their restaurant The Shake Shack. The flavor of the week is Sugar Cookie. We will be down in the commons from 11:45-1:00 on Thursday October 18th. A $1.00 donation would be appreciated per shake. Proceeds benefit the students! Hope to see you there! Bring your friends. 😊

 

Do you Want to expand your Consciousness, Cultivate Inner Peace, And Spread Love and Joy, then come to the Mindfulness Club Open House on Thursday, October 18th, after school in Room 10/11, hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be provided, Come to Learn about Mindfulness and how it can help! Peace!

Drama Club students attending the field trip to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center on October 26th are reminded to hand in permission slip or final 35.00 by Oct. 25th. A list of students who are missing items is on Mrs. Leurquin's door, Rm. 1.

 

Tickets are now on sale in the office for "Peter and the Starcatcher" which will be performed on November 9th at 7:30 pm and November 10th at 2:00 and 7:30 pm. Cost is $9 for students and senior citizens 55 and over and $10 for adults.
