Key Club to meet at 7:20 Wed Rm 45. Come as you can to help make Thank you cards for local police/firefighters. Donuts will be served! Sign Up for volunteer hours at KEEP: Kiwanis Enormous Equipment Playground! It happens this Sat at the fairgrounds!!

 

Forensics will be meeting in room 3 this Wednesday, October 3rd. If you have not joined but would still like to, please stop by! We will be discussing fundraising and signing up for categories. If you cannot make it, please see Mrs. Lavongsa.

 

Those interested in stage construction crew for the play: we will meet from 5:00-8:00 on Thursday, Oct. 4th. Please bring painting clothes too.

 

There will be a rep from the University of Wisconsin for the Marshfield, Stevens Point and Wausau campuses in the counseling office on Tuesday at 11:15.

 

Attention French Club members. We will be having a meeting this Wednesday, October 3rd, after school. We will be discussing our club t-shirt, so come with any designs or suggestions. We'll also be planning a get together of some sort for the fall, so come with ideas for that as well. We'll see you Wednesday in room 47 (Mr. Meyer's room) after school!

 

There will be a rep from St. Norbert College in the counseling office on Wednesday at 11:30.

 

The annual "walk to school day" will be Wednesday, October 10th. It has been a tradition of our Tiger athletic teams to participate in this event and escort elementary students to classes. You will need to secure and return a permission form prior to participation. Permission forms can be picked up in the main office and are due back to the main office on Monday, October 8th. Forms can be found in the canvas portal as well.

The Gay-Straight Alliance will meet Wednesday after school in room 10/11. Anyone is welcome to attend.

 

Picture re-take day is on Friday, October 5^th, if you did not have a photo taken for the yearbook during registration in august you will need to have a one taken on Friday. If you have not picked up your pictures from earlier this year, please come to the office and do so.

 

The special education students are making protein shakes for their restaurant The Shake Shack. The flavor of the week is Vanilla. We will be down in the commons from 10:30-12:00 on Thursday October 4th. A $1.00 donation would be appreciated per shake. Proceeds benefit the students! Hope to see you there! Bring your friends. 😊

 

Now is the time you all have been waiting for! The MHS Ukulele Club will be meeting once again! This year, we've added many new things, such as 300% more jamming time, and bi-monthly prizes. We will also be playing many different kinds of music. Plus, you might even meet some new friends! Our first meeting is Tuesday, October 2nd in the band room following the end of school. If you have any questions, please see either Mr. Carroll or Matthew McEwen. And if you think the ukulele is a silly instrument, remember the original word for the ukulele was machete.
