New Announcements:

Next Tuesday the 9th, Forensics will hold a mandatory meeting in room 3 at 3:00. We need to collect fees and take a group picture. It will be a FAST FIVE minute meeting, but it is important that everyone shows up.

 

SkillsUSA will not have a meeting today. We will have a meeting next Thursday, October 11th for highway cleanup and a pizza party.

Students who signed up for the PSAT/NMSQT- Don't forget that this exam is next Wednesday, October 10 at East Gate Alliance Church. All test takers must arrive to East Gate no later than 7:45 am and have two number 2 non-mechanical pencils, your student id and an approved calculator. You can access personalized online practice items online through Khan Academy.

 

Those interested in stage construction crew for the play: we will meet from 5:00-8:00 on Thursday, Oct. 4th. Please bring painting clothes too.

 

The annual "walk to school day" will be Wednesday, October 10th. It has been a tradition of our Tiger athletic teams to participate in this event and escort elementary students to classes. You will need to secure and return a permission form prior to participation. Permission forms can be picked up in the main office and are due back to the main office on Monday, October 8th. Forms can be found in the canvas portal as well.

Picture re-take day is on Friday, October 5^th, if you did not have a photo taken for the yearbook during registration in august you will need to have a one taken on Friday. If you have not picked up your pictures from earlier this year, please come to the office and do so.

 

The special education students are making protein shakes for their restaurant The Shake Shack. The flavor of the week is Vanilla. We will be down in the commons from 10:30-12:00 on Thursday October 4th. A $1.00 donation would be appreciated per shake. Proceeds benefit the students! Hope to see you there! Bring your friends. 😊
