Today is National Coming Out Day. In fact, today is the 30th anniversary of the national march on Washington for lesbian and gay rights. This day serves as a reminder that one of the LGBTQ community's basic tools is the power of coming out. One out of every 2 Americans has someone close to them who is gay or lesbian, for transgender people, that number is only 1 in 10. To recognize this day, the Gay-Straight Alliance will be holding a trivia contest during lunch hours today. Feel free to spin the big wheel, answer a question and earn a prize.

A rep from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay will be in the counseling office on Tuesday at 2:00.
