As we head home this Friday afternoon, it is important to remember that nearly 92,000 people are injured in parking lots every year. Remember, accidents, fatal or otherwise stay with you and the victims the rest of your life. Be safe, look and make good decisions. Have a great weekend!

A rep from Viterbo will be in the Counseling Office on Tuesday at 9:30.

 

A reminder to SOS students:  Wear your SOS shirt and meet in the commons at 8:00 on Monday morning.  We will walk to East Gate Alliance Church as a group.  If you still need a SOS shirt, please stop in the counseling office sometime today

 

Set Crew For Crucible will not meet tonight.  Please plan to attend rehearsals on Saturday

and next week.

Hey juniors, your chance to participate in a Free ACT practice test will occur on the morning of December 6.  This is a great way to test your preparation for the Official ACT Plus Writing on February 28.  The February 28, can be used for college and technical college admission, and a practice session will help your get your best score and prevent you from having to take the test a second time.  Sign up on is online on the student tab of the district web page.  Select the PREACT link on the right side of the page.

 

Coming up this Saturday at UW-SP is View Point Day!  This is a day that you and other prospective students spend an informative day on campus.  You hear presentations on admissions, financial aid, and student life.  You will also receive a campus tour which will include the residence halls.  If you are interested contact UW-SP's admissions office to register for this free event!

 

 

The Testing Center will stay open on Friday afternoon until students have finished testing.  Please come right after school to work on assessments.  We will be closing early if no one is using the services.

 

Cancer sucks! So please help HOSA and the fight against cancer. Buy a lollipop from one of the HOSA students for only a $1. 50% of the profits will go to cancer research.

 

Election Day is NEXT WEEK!  Room 22 will be creating a mock polling booth to give all of you the opportunity to experience what it is like to vote in a major election.  Most of you will have the opportunity to vote in your social studies classes.  Prepare yourself by getting informed about the candidates and making sure you have a valid photo ID for that day!  See you on Tuesday.

 

Marshfield volleyball player Stephanie Rhodes has been nominated for the WDLB-WOSQ Radio & MarshfieldAreaSports.com October High School Athlete of the Month.

 

Voting begins at MarshfieldAreaSports.com at midnight tonight (Monday) and runs through midnight Nov. 7. Voting is limited to one vote, per IP address, per 24-hour period. Click on the Athlete of the Month banner to vote. Help spread the word!

 

Attention all gymnasts, there will be a parent/athlete meeting on Wednesday, Nov 2nd at 5:30 in the commons.
