New Announcements:

Mr. Henderson’s classes will be canceled today.

 

Mr. Hein will be running a SOS team building activity for all students at 7:15 Thursday morning in the field house. Please come and join in.

 

Will the following students please see Cindy in the office at this time: Amanda Durocher and Logan Schober.

 

There will be a rep from the Army in the Commons during all lunch hours on Thursday.

 

A reminder to SOS peers leaders that we have a meeting in the lecture hall on Thursday this week during 8^th period.

 

Attention Hunters:  Just a reminder that school absences due to hunting receive no special consideration.  Any days you miss are included in the 10 days you are allowed to miss without a doctor’s excuse.  Seniors should remember that missing over 20 days could jeopardize their participation in the graduation ceremony.  It is up to each of you to monitor the number of days you have missed using Skyward Student Access. 

 

There will be no Youth Net after school program today, so no buses to Youth Net.

Any FCCLA member who would like to order a t-shirt this year should see Mrs. MacArthur by the end of the week.

 

 

 

 

Previously Read Announcements:  

Attention girls soccer players, there will be a mandatory meeting after school on Wednesday in room 10/11. Important preseason information will be discussed.  

 

There will be a rep from the University of Wisconsin Stout in the Counseling Office on Wednesday at 1:00.

 

A rep from the Navy will be in the Commons during the lunch hours on Wednesday.

 

Knitting Club will meet this Friday after school in Ms. Gutting's Room 21

 

Code Club will be celebrating its 3rd Anniversary next Monday and Tuesday after school from 3 to 3:45 in room 71.  Casual fun, our annual field trip, and the new AP Computer Science Principles course are on our agenda.  See you next week!

 

This week, November 14^th – 18^th, MHS will be holding a food drive. The homeroom that collects the most items will receive a $100 prize to be spent however the teacher and students would like. The donation days are as follows: Monday is pasta and peanut butter, Tuesday is canned fruits and vegetables, Wednesday is personal hygiene products, Thursday is boxed foods, and Friday is canned meats. Students will be awarded 2 tickets for items brought in on the appropriate day and 1 ticket for items donated on alternative days. Students can then write their name on the tickets and they will be put into a drawing for individual prizes at the end of the week. Our goal is a school is 2,500 items and there will be a progress board displayed in the commons for students and staff to see how close we are to that gold. Remember MHS, hunger knows no season!
