New Announcements:

Attention girls soccer players, there will be a mandatory meeting after school on Wednesday in room 10/11. Important preseason information will be discussed.  

 

Blake Zimmerman, Olivia Page, Kennedy Gehrke, Saisha Birr see Mrs. Salzmann in the counseling office before leaving today.

There will be a rep from the University of Wisconsin Stout in the Counseling Office on Wednesday at 1:00.

 

A rep from the Navy will be in the Commons during the lunch hours on Wednesday.

 

Mr Treankler's AP Human Geography students congratulate our families & friends living in or near Chili this morning.  As part of Geography Awareness Week Chili has been recognized nationally; selected as the Weirdest Town Name in the State of Wisconsin.  Other contenders from throughout the U.S. include Booger Hole, Scratch Ankle, and Toad Suck.  Look out the window and celebrate the world around you!

 

Knitting Club will meet this Friday after school in Ms. Gutting's Room 21

 

Code Club will be celebrating its 3rd Anniversary next Monday and Tuesday after school from 3 to 3:45 in room 71.  Casual fun, our annual field trip, and the new AP Computer Science Principles course are on our agenda.  See you next week!

 

Attention seniors – if you didn’t order your cap & gown & announcements yesterday you have until the end of the day on Tuesday to turn in your order forms to room 36.

 

This week, November 14th – 18th, MHS will be holding a food drive. The homeroom that collects the most items will receive a $100 prize to be spent however the teacher and students would like. The donation days are as follows: Monday is pasta and peanut butter, Tuesday is canned fruits and vegetables, Wednesday is personal hygiene products, Thursday is boxed foods, and Friday is canned meats. Students will be awarded 2 tickets for items brought in on the appropriate day and 1 ticket for items donated on alternative days. Students can then write their name on the tickets and they will be put into a drawing for individual prizes at the end of the week. Our goal is a school is 2,500 items and there will be a progress board displayed in the commons for students and staff to see how close we are to that gold. Remember MHS, hunger knows no season!

 

Attention FFA Members, the World Toughest Rodeo trip is just around the corner. Please sign up in room 80 with Mr. Zee or Mr. Heeg.
