New Announcements:

Tony Conley a former MHS student who was loved by many, passed away last Friday.  A sympathy poster for his parents will be in the commons during lunch hours starting on Wednesday, for all students who would like to sign it.

 

After Day Two of the MHS Food Drive, the leaders are as follows. In third place is the team of Lobner and Lavongsa, with .35 items donated per student.  In second place is the team of Bauer and Bowman, with .66 items donated per student.  Finally, in first place is Mrs. Uecker's combined orchestra team, with 1 item donated per student.  Just a reminder that the Food Drive continues through this Friday, and that the winning team will receive a food reward.

 

Attention students! The French Honor Society is celebrating National French Week this week. Continue to keep a look out for French Week QR codes around the school and answer the day's French Trivia Question. One winner will be chosen every day. Monday's winner was Ben Claessens, and Tuesday's winner was Starly Drexler. We'll be handing out the prizes to the winners this Friday. Today's question is: Which French King built the Palace of Versailles? Bonne chance!

 

The construction will be continuing on the Bio Filter in the new parking lot, there will be barrels up in the parking lot to block the sections they need to work in. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THESE AREAS. Thank you.

Seniors NHS members who still owe their $10 dues are to pay either Kyle or Adrian at today's meeting.

The special education students are making protein shakes for their restaurant The Shake Shack. The flavor of the week is Café Latte. We will be down in the commons from 10:30-12:00. on Friday November 16th. A $1.00 donation would be appreciated per shake. Proceeds benefit the students! Hope to see you there! Bring your friends. 😊

 

There will be a rep from St. Mary's in the counseling office at 11:00 today.

The next FCCLA meeting will be after school on Wednesday, November 14 in the Foods Lab. All members are asked to bring a bag of dry stuffing cubes for the Community Thanksgiving Dinner

 

Morgan Anderson from Mid-State will be at Marshfield High School Wednesday, November 14 from 10:30am-1:30pm in the Guidance Office. Stop by to complete your application and the app fee will be waived for all Summer and Fall 2019 applications – this includes current seniors looking to begin a program AND sophomores or juniors interested in Start College Now. Students should bring their iPad with them.
