Seniors: A reminder that senior picture submissions are due by December 1st. These can be emailed to yearbook@marshfieldschools.org

 

Drama Club students - there will be a brief meeting afterschool on Tuesday, Nov. 27th in room one to discuss the Christmas party on Friday, Dec. 9th and upcoming audition workshop.

 

MHS Student Council would like to thank all students and faculty who participated in the Food Drive earlier this month.  With your help, we were able to donate over 2,500 items totaling 1531 pounds to the local charities of St. Vincent De Paul and Soup or Socks.  The final homeroom results for the Food Drive are as follows.  In third place, with a score of 6.7 items donated per student, is the team of Lobner and Lavongsa.  In second place, with a score of 14.4 items donated per student, is the team of Peters and Stockheimer.  And finally, in first place, with a score of 16.5 items donated per student, is the combined orchestra team.  The first-place team will receive a food reward, and a consolation prize will be considered for the two runners-up.  Once again, thank you to all of the MHS students and faculty for their donations to our local food pantries.

 

A reminder that MCLA has a meeting on Tuesday this week during period 2 in the Lecture Hall.

 

The Gay-Straight Alliance will meet Tuesday after school in room 10/11. Anyone is welcome to attend.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, or ASVAB, will be given at no cost to sophomores, juniors and seniors on Friday, December 7th in the morning. If you are considering joining the military after high school, this exam may interest you. Please see your counselor to sign up.
