New Announcements:
Ms. Goettl's classes are cancelled today. Periods 1-3 & 8-9 students in grades 9& 10 should report to the LMC and students in grades 11 & 12 are to report to the commons.
After Day 5 of the MHS Food Drive, the standings are as follows. In third place is the team of Bauer and Bowman, with 2.2 items donated per student. In second place is the team of Lobner and Lavongsa, with 2.3 items donated per student. Finally, in first place is Mrs. Uecker's combined orchestra team, with 3.8 items donated per student. Just a reminder that the homeroom team that donates the most items will receive a food reward.
Attention students! Today is the final day of the French Honor Society National French Week Trivia contest. The winners from Monday through Thursday are: Ben Claessens, Starly Drexler, Jebina Devadas, and Joshua Grissman. If you are one the four winners so far, you can come claim a prize from Mr. Meyer's room (room 47) today. Friday's question is: Which of the following sports originated in France: Parkour, Cricket, Soccer, or Football? Go find a French Trivia QR code to enter the final day of the contest!
Join us Monday, November 19, in the Marshfield High School Auditorium, for the MAPN presentation “Let’s Clear the Smoke-Get the Facts About Vaping”. Doors open 5:30pm; presentation starts 6:00pm. Appetizers, desserts and drinks will be provided.
The November FFA meeting and bowling party will be held at Rose Bowl Lanes on Monday night, November 19th from 6-8 pm. Your cost will be $5 which covers bowling, pizza and pop. Also FFA members are reminded to turn in their Fall Sales sheets by Monday night's meeting.

Tony Conley a former MHS student who was loved by many, passed away last Friday. A sympathy poster for his parents will be in the commons during lunch hours starting on Wednesday, for all students who would like to sign it.
If you’ve noticed that the last few weeks have been a bit unusual at MHS, then you’re right! Ukulele Club hasn’t been meeting due to the fall play, however, Ukulele Club will resume on Tuesday, November 20th. We know you’ll all be ecstatic about this wonderful news, and don’t forget to talk to Mr. Carroll or Matthew McEwen with any questions. And remember, Ukulele spelled backwards is Eleluku, which is Hawaiian for elephant. Coincidence? That’s for you to decide
