THURSDAY AM ANNOUNCEMENTS – DECEMBER 5, 2019

Key Club will meet Friday immediately after school in the commons. We will be setting up the "Sock Tree" and nominations/elections for officers. Please bring socks, hats, scarves & gloves to "decorate the tree" for Soup or Socks. There will be snacks and all are welcome to attend!

 

HOSA members - your event selection needs to be completed by next Tuesday, Dec. 10th. See Mrs. Buttke in room 45 if you have any questions

 

MHS Student Council will be collecting donations for “Team Trees” all next week.  Each grade will compete against each other by putting their donations in their grade’s box in the commons.  If you want to help improve our environment, donate to Team Trees next week!

 

An audition workshop for the Spring Musical 'Hello, Dolly!' will be held afterschool in the choir room on Wednesday, Dec. 11th. *PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE*  Please make arrangements to attend this mandatory workshop or speak to Mrs. Leurquin on the Friday following the meeting. It should be done by 4:00 PM. Auditions will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 17th from 3:15-6:30 PM in the Orchestra Room.

 

The ASVAB or military entrance exam will be held this Friday, 12/6 in the lecture hall hours 1-4. Sophomores, juniors and seniors are able to take this exam. See your counselor or Mrs. Burkhart in the counseling office to sign up. There is no fee.

 

Think you know a lot about government and politics? Are you keeping up with current events? Want to have a chance to win scholarships for college? Consider joining the high school Civics Bowl Team. Our initial introductory meeting will occur on Wednesday, December 11th at 7:23AM. Learn about the games and how to compete to be a part of the team. If you can't make the meeting, see Mr. Glodowski in room 22 for details.

 

A general Drama Club meeting will be held after school on Friday, Dec. 6. This will be a brief 10 minute meeting and discussed will be the Audition Workshop for the musical, audition process and the Holiday Party and games.
