PM Announcements 12/13/19

FRIDAY PM ANNOUNCEMENTS – DECEMBER 13, 2019

 

We have messages in the office for the following: Adam Kaminski, Alexia Daul, Logan Durham, Eliana Kanitz, Coralee Hoffman, Maddie Michaelis, Jeffrey Berres, Josh Gruen, and Paige Preston.

 

We will be running on the ACP schedule on Tuesday, December 17th.

 

The Business & InfoTech Capstone class will be hosting an Escape Room from 5:30-8 during the basketball games tonight...Come check it out!

 

The Tiger PopUp Shop will be open for the basketball games tonight...stop by and check it out for your Holiday Shopping.

 

Students, after last Monday’s lockdown that took place before 7:30 a.m., we learned we have well over 200 students in the academic wing that do not have an Early Bird class and are technically unsupervised.  Therefore, starting Monday, December 16th, the only students allowed into the academic wing before 7:30 a.m. will be those 35 students having an early Bird Class with Mr. Karrels and Ms. Fassler.  Students wishing to report to the Testing Center must report to the staff person working the TOP/check-in station.  Students reporting to Testing Center before 7:30 a.m. will not be dismissed from the testing into the Academic Wing until 7:30 a.m.    Staff members holding club meetings such as Student Council will be permitted on days meetings are held.  Club advisors will provide a list of students needing clearance.  If students need to see a teacher for help or support prior to 7:30 a.m., please report to the staff member working the check-in/check-out station at the main door entrance.  They will call the teacher you wish to see to confirm they are available. Please try to alert your teachers the day before if you intend to come in to see them before 7:30 the next day. at the All students will be allowed into the Academic Wing at 7:30 a.m. Please plan accordingly and understand the nature for this change.  No student truly needing to be in the Academic Wing before 7:30 a.m. will be denied access.  Thank you in advance for your cooperation.  

 

Next Tuesday, December 17 Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be having a guest speaker from the Hope Life Center of Wausau to give a talk on today's social media from a biblical perspective.  The talk will be begin at 7:00 am in the lecture hall.  If you want your name on the list see or e-mail Mr. Lang.

 

Key Club will meet today after school in the commons. We will be setting up the "Sock Tree” please bring socks, hats, scarves & gloves to "decorate the tree" for Soup or Socks at any time. Because it "SOCKS" to be cold! There will be snacks and all are welcome to attend!

 

Interact Club will have it's first meeting on Dec. 17th, 7:00 a.m. in rm 57. This is a great opportunity to participate in a club with leadership and service opportunities. Mrs. Eberl will meet you in the commons and bring you to her classroom. Donuts will be provided.

 

FCCLA members are reminded that there will be a cookie making activity night tonight after school in the foods lab. Also be prepared to sign up for STAR Events before Winter Break.

 

Students who took the PSAT this fall—your score reports are NOW available on the College Board website. You may log in to your account using your same login as for AP testing, only create a new account if you don’t already have one for AP.

See Mrs. Loll if you have difficulties or if you need a paper copy of your score report.

 

Attention MHS Students: The Team Trees Fundraiser is going on all this week!  You can donate cash in your grade's labeled container, which is located in the commons near Mrs. Guden's desk.  The donation to Team Trees will be made under the name of the class who donates the most money.

 

FFA members are reminded that Fruit money needs to be turned in by the end of the week.  Also, backorders can be picked up today in the high school ag room.  Also, FFA members are reminded that the December FFA meeting will be held this Sunday night from 6pm to 8:30 PM at Melody Gardens.  The cost is $5 which covers skating, pizza, soda, and ice cream.  We will also have an ugly sweater contest at the meeting.  

 

Marshfield FFA will be helping at Rotary Winter Wonderland on Monday, December 23rd from 4:45pm to 7pm.  Sign up in the ag room if you can help.  Also, FFA members interested in going on the Rodeo and Mall of America trip on Friday, January 24th need to sign up in the ag room and pick up a permission slip.  You need to have sold at least $250 in the fundraiser to participate, and permission slips and the $35 fee are due before Christmas break.
