FRIDAY PM ANNOUNCEMENTS – OCTOBER 18, 2019

Messages in the office for: Lola Teatz, Brooklyn Gurney

MCLA members—if you are attending the retreat on Tuesday 10/22, please plan to meet in the Commons at 8am. We will be walking as a group to the church and will return by 3pm. Wear a jacket and comfortable walking shoes.

Students: Recently, we have had an increasing number of students tampering with their personal hallway-locker in effort to keep it unlocked at all times. Students have been placing pencil/pens in the locking mechanism to prevent the locker from being completely locked. Unfortunately, such acts can cause damage to the locker exceeding over $150.00 to replace all broken parts. For future occurrences, if damage is reported to a locker and it is clear that a student tampered with it, that student will be charged up to $150.00 for the damages. In effort to prevent that from occurring, please do not place any object in the locking mechanism and use your locker as intended.

Do you see staff wearing college wear today? Ask staff about their college experience. Seniors, don’t forget your school counselors advice of having at least one college application completed by October 31. There are many steps that follow after completing applications, such as completing the FAFSA for financial aid purposes and applying to scholarships.
