FRIDAY AM ANNOUNCEMENTS – OCTOBER 11, 2019

Today is the 31st Anniversary of National Coming Out Day. This day marks the anniversary on the national march on Washington for Lesbian and Gay rights. This is day serves as a reminder that we can all be advocates for equality. The MHS Gay-Straight Alliance will be holding a trivia contest during lunches tomorrow (today). Prizes awarded every lunch hour.

 

Reminder when you checkout an iPad from Mrs. Lewer for the day it needs to be returned by the end of that same day.

The following students need to see Ms. Schreiner in the front office: Garret Anderson, Devin Dieringer, Adam Ponshok, Justin Post, Brayan Ramirez, Simon Raycher, Gaven Ronning

 

Students are reminded to sign into Destiny to check due dates of library books. Use your usual school log in and password. See Mrs. Zdun in the LMC with questions.

 

There will be a Boy's Swimming meeting in Room 56 next Wednesday October 16th after school.

 

Do you like donuts? Participate in Pathway Partner’s Career Costume Contest on Thursday, October 31st to be eligible to win some on Monday, November 4th. All are welcome to participate – including staff, so get your costumes ready now!

 

All sophomores and juniors who are registered to take the PSAT on 10/16 should have received a confirmation email this week from Mrs. Loll. Talk to your teachers about a plan for any work that you will miss.

 

Game Day crew members are reminded to dress for winter weather regardless of your role. The rest of our Fall events will be cold. Dress in layers, and remember hats, mittens, and gloves.

AP Students-Exam registration is a two-part process. Step one is to have yourself joined to your AP class; Step 2 is to have the paper exam registration form that includes exam cost into the HS counseling office by October 30. Please don't wait until the last minute!
