THURSDAY AM ANNOUNCEMENTS – FEBRUARY 21, 2019

New Announcements:

The following students need to check their student email: Dominic Zimmerman, Skylar Faber, Malachi Fyksen, Devan Wakefield, Suhaas Bhat, Karter Knudsen, Carli Meyer, Abbie Ryta, Hunter Bitter, Catana Bragg, Andrew Doney, Deontee Smiley, Jordan Schumacher

 

Cancelled classes for today are: Mr. Strobel, Mr. Dargenio and Mr. Brandt’s period 1-5. Periods 1-3 & 8-9 students in grades 9& 10 should report to the LMC and students in grades 11 & 12 are to report to the commons. Period 4-7 all students are to report to the LMC.

 

Key club will meet Friday at 3:00 pm in rm 45 –

 

Missed the Boys’ Track and Field Meeting?  No problem!  Stop in and See Mr. Hartwig or Mr. Goettl

 

Students who did not order a yearbook can stop up in the main office to pick up a flyer from Jostens with directions on how to do so.  Friday is the last day to put your order in for the 2019 edition.

 

FBLA members should report to Room 70 at this time to take our club photo and receive your Regional awards.

 

Hey US Bank Stadium human geographers... Mr. Treankler wants to know WHERE your signed permission slips are and WHY you haven't turned yours in yet?! :-)

 

The summer school enrollment window will open at 4 PM today for freshmen. Sign in to your Skyward student access account and click on the Arena Scheduling tab to enroll in summer school classes.

Spanish Club Members: We will be having a brief 15 minute meeting after school today to decide which desserts to cook at our next food day!

 

Is $94 per AP exam something you and your family worry about paying? If you have financial hardship with paying for your AP Exam or Exams and you do not qualify for free or reduced lunch, please complete the Blanchard AP Scholarship application and the FAFSA4Caster by 3 pm this Friday. Applications can be picked up in the HS Counseling Office or printed from the AP Website. A completed scholarship application does included your FAFSA4Caster results, directions on how to complete the FAFSA4Caster are included on the scholarship application. Again, the deadline is this Friday, February 22 at 3 pm to turn in completed applications to the high school counseling office.

 

Attention all MHS students: The Pennies for Patients Fundraiser has entered its second week!  The standings are as follows.  In third place, with a total donation of 6 dollars, is Mrs. Sadowska’s homeroom.  In second place, with a total donation of 12 dollars and 50 cents, is Mr. Bauer’s homeroom.  Finally, in first place, with a total donation of 20 dollars, is Mrs. Konrardy’s homeroom Study Hall.  Just a reminder that the Pennies for Patients Fundraiser will continue through this Friday, February 22nd.
