New Announcements:

Attention Juniors who planned on attending the Xtreme Xploration event scheduled for tomorrow. The event has been moved from Tuesday February 12th to Wednesday, February 13th due to the predicted weather forecast for Tuesday.  This decision was made at this time to communicate alternative plans early to the many business and education partners involved in the event.  If you have any questions about this schedule change, please see Mrs. Fredrick. See you Wednesday Feb. 13th! 

 

The Madrigal Singers are selling Singing Valentines, aka Sing-o-Grams, for the low cost of $1.00.  Purchase a song for your friend or sweetie.  They will be sold during all four lunch periods, tomorrow and Wednesday.  They will be sung during the recipients Lunch period on Thursday.

 

Attention ALL JUNIORS you need to bring you resume tomorrow. Be sure to have at least one printed copy tomorrow.

 

Any former AP Chemistry student interested in taking the National Chemistry Olympiad Exam, please stop by room 9 and see Mr. Knecht for some details this week.

 

All you need is Love!  All you need is L-o-v-e! Love and mindfulness are all you need.  So Come to the mindfulness club Valentine’s day Party after school Thursday in the lecture hall, for a chance to see how you can spread love and self-compassion this holiday season, alongside spreading some love towards the community and universe.  Snacks and Drinks will be provided.  Have a lovely Valentine’s day.

 

Blanchard AP Scholarship Applications are now available in the counseling office or on the AP Website.  Any student who doesn't qualify for free or reduced lunch and has a financial need for paying AP exams should apply!  Completed applications that include FAFSA4caster results are due in the counseling office by the end of the day February 22. 

 

Tiger Fans get on the bus to Chippewa Falls for the WIAA Regional Boys Hockey game versus the Cardinals. Cost of the fan bus is $10, which includes the game ticket. Permission slips can be picked up in the main office. $10 plus your permission slip are due by the end of the day Wednesday. All students must be in good academic and school standing to attend.

 

Preseason Girls Track Meeting this Monday in Room 36 (Coach LeMoine's Room) for all girls interested in participating in Track and Field this spring from 310 to 330.  See you there.  

 

Yearbook club will be meeting in computer lab 4 on Tuesday at 7:00 am!

Previously Read Announcements:

Marshfield high school’s pennies for patients fundraiser starts this today, February 8. These funds will go towards providing lifesaving blood cancer research around the world. The home rooms who raise the most money will receive a prize. First place will get a breakfast bar and second will get donuts. The competition ends Thursday February 21.

 

Taking an AP Exam in May?  AP Exam registration forms are now available from your AP teacher or the counseling office.  Exams cost $94.  You only need one exam registration form completed no matter how many AP exams you will take.  Turn in completed exam forms and correct money by March 8 in the counseling office.

 

Youth Service-Learning members need to bring all 1st semester hours to Miss Goettl in Room 70 by 4th hour Wednesday.

 

Anyone interested in taking the Drivers Education course offered during summer school, please visit the guidance office for specific registration information and forms. All registration forms will be due on Wednesday, February 13th

 

Attention Seniors! The Scholarship Bulletin is now available in the counseling office. Please stop by and pick one up if you are interested.

 

HOSA - we will be having mandatory meetings every Thursday of February. 7:40 start time in room 45! Remember, Regionals are on the 27th.
