New Announcements:

Miss Goettl needs to see Brady Aumann, Mitchell Mort, and Blaine Neinast before school through 4th hour Tuesday in Room 70.

 

Science bowlers should stop in to room 6 for a quick meeting tonight after school. (Suhaas Bhat, Tara Bhat, Hugh Steiner, Carter Chojnacki, Davis Rens)

 

Juniors are reminded to return their signed Xtreme Xploration permission slips to their English teacher by Tuesday, February 5.

 

Previously Read Announcements:

A rep from the University of Wisconsin River Falls will be in the counseling office on Tuesday at 1:45.

 

A rep from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point will be in the counseling office on Wednesday at 11:00.

 

On Saturday, five Marshfield students competed in the Lake Sturgeon Bowl Regional of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl. The team went undefeated in their pool to advance to the double elimination championship bracket where they lost in the finals to a strong LaDue Hawkins team from Missouri. Team members included: Suhaas Bhat, Tara Bhat, Niki Gonugunta, Carter Chojnacki, and Jasen Kracht. Congratulations on a fine performance.

 

Congratulations to all FBLA members who competed at Regionals on Saturday. Special congrats to Michael Steltenpohl and Will Peterson who each placed 1st in their events; Anna Weis, Brady Aumann, Mitch Mort, and Blaine Neinast who each placed 2nd in their events; Will Voss who placed 3rd, Isaiah Schulz who placed 4th, and Morgan Meyer who placed 5th!

Musical leads/characters - Stop in today @ 5:00 in the auditorium to get blocking and for costume fittings if you haven’t already done so.

 

Students interested in helping with costumes and makeup should report to room 1, Mrs. Leurquin's room after school for a brief meeting today.

 

Marshfield gymnast Gracie Holland has been nominated for the WDLB-WOSQ Radio & MarshfieldAreaSports.com January High School Athlete of the Month award.

Voting runs through midnight Feb. 7th at MarshfieldAreaSports.com. Click on the Athlete of the Month banner and go to the voting portal on the bottom of that page to cast your vote. Voting is limited to one vote per IP address, per 24-hour period. Thank you and help spread the word!

 

The legendary hypnotist, Dr. Jim Wand, will be back at MHS on Wednesday, February 6.  Grab a friend, buy a ticket and come share some laughs or maybe be selected to go up on stage.  Tickets will be available for purchase for $12 during the lunch hours Monday-Wednesday or at the door the night of the show.  Show time is 7:00 and doors open at 6:30. Seating is general admission.  If you want to score a free ticket, see Mrs. Dietsche in Room 72 by Monday.
