Last night the Lady Tigers Golf team finished third in their dual meet. Beatnig Wisconsin Rapids and D.C. Everest, with a team total of 220. GREAT JOB LADIES!!

Anyone who missed this morning's FBLA meeting and wants to learn about FBLA should see Miss Goettl in Room 70 at this time.

 

Mr. Messerli's period 3, 5 and 7 classes are cancelled today. Students are to report to the LMC.

 

The Special education students are making protein shakes for their restaurant, The Shake Shack. The flavor of the week is Mint Chocolate Chip. We will be down in the commons from 10:30-12:00 on Friday September 21st. A $5.00 donation would be appreciated per shake. Proceeds benefit the students! Hope to see you there! Bring your friends!

Any FCCLA member who is interested in creating or riding in a Homecoming float should see Mrs. MacArthur by Friday. If you have not returned your membership form, please turn that in by Friday as well

 

Code Club preparing signage and homecoming parade trinkets & toys after school Friday in room 71. Super Chill soda will be provided.

 

Attention MCLA members: If you plan to attend the field trip on October 5th, you need to return your permission slip to Mrs. Carlson by Friday this week.

 

The National Honor Society will hold its first meeting September 20th, in the Auditorium at 3:05 pm. Members are reminded to bring one canned food item or $1.00 for attendance.

 

Attention PowderPuff Players! Make sure you get a concussion form from your class advisor and get the form turned back in by FRIDAY! If there is not one on file, you will not play.

Attention MHS Students: Forensics will have its first meeting of the year. Stop by room 3 at 3:15 this Wednesday the 19th. If you cannot attend, let Mrs. Lavongsa know ASAP, and she will give you the necessary information. All are welcome to come and learn more about Forensics. It is going to be a fantastic year! Congratulations to Maggie Stangl who is our new Forensics President! She has already been working with Mrs. L to make this year even more successful for our group! Also, previous members should check the messenger app for updates from Maggie Stangl and Mrs. L.

 

Powder Buff volleyball registration forms can be picked up from Mrs. Sadowska in room 5. Registration is open to the first 8 teams to return a registration form to Mrs. Sadowska. All teams must be registered by Thursday, September 20, at 3:30. The Powder Buff tournament will take place on Sunday, September 23 at 5:00 p.m.

 

There will be a Freshman class float building meeting after school this
Wednesday in Ms. Spoerl's room 42. Any Freshman is welcome to attend. Bring your ideas, bring a friend!

 

ATTENTION JUNIORS!  One of the best ways to prepare for the required ACT test, coming up in February, is to take the official PreACT on October 30. This assessment simulates the format and timing of the ACT Plus Writing and will provide you with a detailed report on how you can prepare the February test. Sign up for the PreACT is in the MAIN office with Ms. Bishop at this time. The fee is $13. Contact your counselor, Mr. Roeglin, or Ms. Bishop if you have questions.

 

Spanish Club Members: We WILL be in the Homecoming Parade this year! Come decorate our banner next Tuesday after school in room 46.
