Current Homecoming scores after day one are as follows:  Leading the way this year so far is the Freshmen with 190 points.  Following them is the Sophomores with 148 points, Third place is the seniors with 138 points, and rounding out 4th place is the juniors with 115.

Here are the current totals in the Homecoming Hurricane Relief competition. The freshman class has raised $175, the sophomores have squeaked out $109, The juniors are hanging tough at $290, and the seniors, with an outstanding effort, are at $533.  Great effort so far with a total of $955.  Our new goal is $1500.  Faculty and staff who want to participate are encouraged donate to the class that has best behaved and hardest working students.  Donations can be made through the lunch hours on Friday.  Thank You to the FFA for donating all the proceeds from their Root Beer float sale to the fund.

October is LGBT history month. To recognize this, the Marshfield GSA is holding another Tuesday trivia question. Today's question is: In what year did half a million people participate in the March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights? Answers should be dropped into the cauldron on Mrs. Burkhart's desk by the end of the day today. Multiple winners will receive a prize.

The PSAT is tomorrow, Wednesday, October 11 for those sophomores and juniors who signed up.  We are testing at East Gate Church.  Students should arrive between 7:30-7:45 am with pencils, student id and an acceptable calculator.  If you have any questions, stop in the counseling office.  Students will return for their 7th hour class.

FBLA members are reminded to bring your State and National Dues to Miss Goettl before school through 4th hour by Thursday.

Attention Students: Picture Proof Packets will be handed out during lunch hours on October 10-12, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday. Even if you didn’t order pictures there will be a proof packet for you.  Please stop and pick it up. Student Council members will be on hand to assist you.

Attention to those students who will be donating blood during tomorrow's blood drive in the new gym.  You are reminded that in order to donate blood you MUST have your parental consent form filled out and turned in.  These forms can be found on the commons stage during your lunch hour or see Mr. Genett.  Forms can be turned in tomorrow as well, and you should also be reminded that donations should only be made during either your study hall or lunch hour in order to be excused!

The Marshfield GSA would like to invite those who identify as LGBTQ, as well as those who identify as their allies to show unity by wearing ribbons on Wednesday. Ribbons will be distributed in the counseling office before school on Wednesday.
