Any young man signed up to play powderbuff volleyball, your participation FEE is due by Tuesday after school. Failure to turn payment in will result in the cancellation of this Homecoming activity. Cost is $40/team, turn in to Mrs. LeMoine in Room 36.
Senior Float Building will take place next Wednesday evening at the fairgrounds starting at 5 pm! More participation means more points. Seniors...you may never have the opportunity to build another float in your LIFE! Don't miss this opportunity!

Students helping out with crew for the fall play can attend a first work day today afterschool till 5:00 or so. If you cannot attend, we will have future dates next week.

Attention freshmen. A float theme has been decided! We need donated cardboard boxes and shovels for the float. Donations can be dropped off in Ms.Mahoney's room. We will have time to work on the float Monday after 4:00pm, and Tuesday right after school in room 10/11, in addition to the Wednesday 4-7:30pm work time at the fairgrounds.
National Honor Society members - Remember your first opportunity to earn Key Hours is this weekend. The Kiwansis KEEP event needs help Friday and Saturday. See the NHS bulletin board or Facebook page for details.
Freshman FFA members are reminded of the Fire Leadership Conference in River Falls on October 14th. Permission slips and money are due to Mr. Heeg tomorrow.

Do you think you have what it takes to be the very best like no one ever was? Then come to Pokemon Club on Wednesday, October 11th, from 3-4pm, in Room 22. We will be playing the video game, the card game, and watching the anime, so please bring your materials.
Attention juniors and seniors: Financial aid night will be held in the Auditorium on Monday, October 9th at 6:00 pm
This year’s Homecoming Charity Project will be “Homecoming Hurricane Relief”, which will feature a class fundraising competition, with all funds donated to the Red Cross to assist the victims of storm damage in Texas, Florida and the Caribbean. The juniors took a huge lead, with 3 students taking the initiative to donate over $120. Donation containers will be in the commons during all lunch hours. Thousands of lives have been devastated by these storms, and this is the chance for us to show some Tiger Spirit by helping them out.
Tryouts for the Homecoming Pepfest Pushup team will continue today during Phy. Ed. Classes and lunch hours. Each team will need 2 girls, 2 boys, and a faculty member. Crank out some pushups and help out your class dominate the Pepfest competition.
Students planning to bring a non-MHS guest to the Homecoming dance should be sure to have the Dance Guest Permission Form filled out and signed by both schools by October 11th. Forms can be picked up in the main office.
