The following classes are canceled for today: Mrs. Drach, Mrs. Leurquin, Mr. McFarlane, and Mr. Teska.

 

Mr. Carlson’s Support CRC periods 1 & 3 are canceled for today.

Students in Mr. Higgins History and American Gov class who still want to do remediation today, come see him during a passing period so he can get your test to the Testing Center before the end of school today.

 

Students planning to bring a non-MHS guest to the Homecoming dance should be sure to have the Dance Guest Permission Form filled out and signed by both schools by October 11th. Forms can be picked up in the main office.

 

AP Computer Science Principles students are reminded to report directly to the Software Engineering forum hour 2.

 

Code Club gathering today after school 'til 4. Chill generic soda in room 71 after school until 16 hundred hours.

 

Students please remember picture retake day will be Tuesday, October 3rd.

 

FCCLA will be having their first meeting of the year on Wednesday, October 4th after school.  Come join us in the foods lab for some sweet treats and to learn more about FCCLA!  See Mrs. MacArthur if you are interested but cannot attend

 

Students 10 -12 have through noon today to vote for homecoming court if you have not already done so.

 

Previously Read Announcements:

 

All students must have their IDs when using the Testing Center.  Be sure to bring them with you.  Also, backpacks are not allowed in the Testing Center or left in the hallways outside the Testing Center.  Please leave them in your lockers!

 

This message is for current sophomores and juniors. Are you interested in studying abroad this summer? Would you like a scholarship that helps with the cost? Come to an informational meeting about a study abroad opportunity held Tuesday, October 3rd after school in room 10/11. If you cannot attend the meeting, see Mrs. Salzmann in the counseling office.

 

A rep from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul will be in the Counseling Office on Monday from noon to 1.

 

Students are reminded to check the due dates of their library books and renew if necessary.  IF you need help accessing your account in Destiny, see Mrs. Moore in the library.

 

Signups for M.C. and Homecoming performers can be found on Mr. Genett's door outside of room 10/11.  Please sign up if interested!

 

Juniors interested in signing up for powderpuff can do so in Mr. Genett's room (room 10/11).  The cost of the t-shirts is 15 dollars and can be paid to either Mr. Genett or Mr. Glodowski.

 

Attention MHS students....voting for Homecoming Court starts today and will run through noon on Friday.  Students in grades 10-12 are eligible to vote.  Simply visit the high school webpage, click on the student tab at the top, and then Homecoming Court ballot on the right hand side of the page to proceed to vote.

 

Are you interested in volunteering hours?  If so, stop in the counselors' office if you would like to help set up tables at East Gate Church during your study hall or after school on October 10.

 

Do you play Ukulele? Do you enjoy making music with others? Then Ukulele club is the place for you! Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, we would love to see you there! Our first meeting is Friday, September 29th in the band room right after school until 3:45pm.We will be playing some music, so please bring your instrument. Talk to Matthew McEwen with any questions.
