All students must have their IDs when using the Testing Center.  Be sure to bring them with you.  Also, backpacks are not allowed in the Testing Center or  left in the hallways outside the Testing Center.  Please leave them in your lockers!

 

This message is for current sophomores and juniors. Are you interested in studying abroad this summer? Would you like a scholarship that helps with the cost? Come to an informational meeting about a study abroad opportunity held Tuesday, October 3rd after school in room 10/11. If you cannot attend the meeting, see Mrs. Salzmann in the counseling office.

 

A rep from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul will be in the Counseling Office on Monday from noon to 1.

 

Students are reminded to check the due dates of their library books and renew if necessary.  IF you need help accessing your account in Destiny, see Mrs. Moore in the library.

 

The Lady Tigers golf team finished 5th as a team in Reginal action on Wednesday. Advancing to sectional play for the Tigers was Roma Shah. Roma will be playing on Monday, October 2nd in Wisconsin Rapids. Congratulations Lady Tigers!

Signups for M.C. and Homecoming performers can be found on Mr. Genett's door outside of room 10/11.  Please sign up if interested!

 

Juniors interested in signing up for powderpuff can do so in Mr. Genett's room (room 10/11).  The cost of the t-shirts is 15 dollars and can be paid to either Mr. Genett or Mr. Glodowski.

 

Attention MHS students....voting for Homecoming Court starts today and will run through noon on Friday.  Students in grades 10-12 are eligible to vote.  Simply visit the high school webpage, click on the student tab at the top, and then Homecoming Court ballot on the right hand side of the page to proceed to vote.

Are you a Pushup Master? Then try out for your classes Homecoming Pepfest push up team starting today during your phy. ed. class or lunch hour.  Lunch hour trials will take place up on the stage by the Tiger. The rules have now changed to allow any fall sport athlete to participate, EXCEPT for football players in grades 10-12.  

Students interested in joining FFA are reminded to get their $15 dues in to Mr. Heeg or Mr. Zee.

 

FFA members interested in participating in the World Dairy Expo Trip on Tuesday, October 3rd need to sign up in the ag room and get a permission slip from Mr. Heeg or Mr. Zee.  Permission slips are due Friday morning.  The cost of the trip is $8.

 

The September FFA meeting will be held in the high school ag room, next to the greenhouse, this Thursday, September 28th beginning at 7 pm.  This will be a Packer Party, with pizza, pop, and prizes.  We'll have a short meeting and then watch the first half of the Packer game.  Festivities end at halftime of the game.

 

Do you play Ukulele? Do you enjoy making music with others? Then Ukulele club is the place for you! Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, we would love to see you there! Our first meeting is Friday, September 29th in the band room right after school until 3:45pm. We will be playing some music, so please bring your instrument. Talk to Matthew McEwen with any questions.

 

Students interested in assisting with crew for the Fall Play are asked to attend a brief meeting in the auditorium after school on Thursday, Sept. 28th.

 

Are you interested in volunteering hours?  If so, stop in the counselors' office if you would like to help set up tables at East Gate Church during your study hall or after school on October 10.
