Mrs. Goettl’s classes are canceled for today.

 

Today is the school lunch cookout, which means all the hot dogs and hamburgers are grilled to perfection by the principals.  Don't miss one of the best lunches of the season.

On Monday night at the PowderPuff  game, a parent was accidently hit in the head with a rock.  If you know who this parent was, please contact anybody in the central office and let them know.

 

Are you interested in studying abroad? Are you interested in hearing about one student's experience in Spain last year? Then come to an informational meeting next Wednesday, October 12th at 3 pm in room 10/11. Scholarship opportunities are available to current sophomore and junior students. See Mrs. Salzmann in the counseling office with any questions or an application for the scholarship.

Attention Faculty, Staff, and Students, the Marshfield FFA invites you for breakfast tomorrow morning in the commons. The menu includes all you can eat pancakes with 100% pure maple syrup, sausage, cheese curds, and milk. We will be serving from 6:30 to 8:30 am. Donations are appreciated and all money collected will be given to the United Way Nutrition on Weekends program. Hope to see you there and we promise, you will not walk away hungry.

After Tuesday night’s activities and Wednesday’s dress-up, the new homecoming scores are as follows:  4th with 512 points is the Juniors, 3rd with 581.5 points is the sophomores,  Closing in with 628.5 points is the Freshmen, and still in the lead with 719.5 points is the seniors.

Freshmen who want to continue building the float, can meet in Ms.Mahoney's room, room 10/11, after school today, and they can work until 4:00pm.

HOSA members that want to walk in the homecoming parade on Friday please see Mrs. Iwanski in Room 45 today after school.

 

The ARMY will be in the Commons during the lunch hours today, Thursday October 6th.

 

Boys Hockey will have a mandatory meeting today, Thursday, Oct. 6th for players and managers tomorrow night after school in room (10/11). If you are expecting to play on the team, you must be at this meeting. It will be a quick meeting, and you will be on time for your fall activity practices etc.

 

Juniors can pick up your homecoming tee shirts in Mr. Genett's room (Rm 10/11) before or after school today

 

The Testing Center will only be open for Periods 4-7 on Friday.  It will not be available before school or after school on that day.  Please plan accordingly.

 

Congratulations to this year's FBLA officers.  President: Roni Zdun, Vice President: Ruby Dietz, and Secretary/Treasurer: Brooke Rollins.

 

French Club and French Honor Society, decorating for the parade entry will occur Monday, October 3 through Friday, October 7 from 3:00-5:00 in room 64. Have some fun come and help!

 

Freshmen who ordered homecoming t-shirts can pick them up before or after school on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  Pick them up from Ms.Mahoney in room 10/11.

 

Marshfield soccer player Luke McCann has been nominated for the WDLB-WOSQ. Radio & MarshfieldAreaSports.com High School Athlete of the Month for September. Voting will run through midnight Oct. 7 at MarshfieldAreaSports.com. Click on the banner ad in the middle of the home page to cast a vote. Voting is limited to one vote per IP address per 24-hour period. The winner will be announced on Oct. 9.
