New Announcements:

Anyone interested in becoming a boys hockey manager for this season, please see Mrs. Schreiner in the main office for more information.

 

Girls Tennis pictures are in and can be picked up in the main office.

 

 

HOSA members, please remember to give your $20 HOSA dues to Mrs. Iwanski in Room 45 by Tuesday, Oct. 18th.

 

Are you interested in studying abroad? Are you interested in hearing about one student’s experience in Spain last year? Then come to an informational meeting TODAY, at 3:00pm in room 10/11. Scholarship opportunities are available to current sophomore and junior students. See Mrs. Salzmann in the counseling office with any questions or an application for the scholarship. Attention students interested in studying abroad: If you cannot make tonight's afterschool meeting in room 12, there will be an alternate meeting tomorrow morning before school in room 10/11 at 7:30.

 

Previously Read Announcements:  

There will be a rep from the University of Northwestern in the Counseling Office on Thursday at 8:45.

There will also be a rep from Carroll University in the Counseling Office on Thursday at 10:45.

 

Come to the Tiger football game on Friday, October 14th, at Fond du Lac and be a part of the “Tackle School Hunger” food drive and raffle! Anyone bringing 5 food items will receive a raffle ticket. (If you are unable to bring 5 food items, you can donate $5 for one raffle ticket). At half time of the game, a drawing will be made for the following prizes:  1st = $500, 2nd = $300, 3rd = $200! So if you plan on attending the October 14th game in Fond du Lac, consider being part of the “Tackle School Hunger” food drive!

 

There will be a brief FCCLA meeting after school on Wed. Oct. 12th in the foods lab.  Upcoming events will be discussed and new members are welcome to join.

 

Attention Journalism Club! Our next meeting is Thursday, October 13th after school. Bring your rough drafts of your homecoming week articles and pictures. We'll meet in room 10/11 and help each other finalize those drafts!

 

We have had several items turned into the office “Lost & Found” in the last week. If you are missing something, please see Mrs. Vierck in the office.

 

The PSAT roster is posted outside of the counseling office.  Please check the roster to verify a test was ordered for you.  Just a reminder that this test is Wednesday, October 19 at East Gate Alliance Church on Becker Road.  You are responsible for your own transportation. 

 

Marshfield High School participates in a number of jeopardy-style academic science bowl competitions each year and we generally have several teams competing. Over the years, our successes in these competitions have taken us to Alaska, California, Florida, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Panama.  If you are interested in participating or would just like to learn more about these competitions please attend an informational meeting this Wednesday after school in room 6.  If you are unable to attend let Mr. Herder or Mr. McFarlane know that you are interested.

 

 

Español 4 esta recogiendo comida para United Way y la programa NOW. Este programa ayuda los niños en pobreza. Necesitamos que dona comida para nuestra causa.  Necesitamos jalea, mantequilla de maní, bolsas de ziploc, cereales, galletas, barras de granola y otros aperitivos. Hay cajas en unos aulas de la escuela.   !Muchas Gracias!

 

Spanish 4 is collecting food for United Way and the NOW )Nutrition on Weekends program.  This program helps childen in need.  We need jelly, peanut butter, Ziploc bags, healthy cereal, crackers, fruit snacks, granola bars and other snacks.
