A set of keys was turned in from the football game on Friday evening. If you are missing a set please see Mrs. Vierck in the office to claim them.

 

We have had several items turned into the office “Lost & Found” in the last week. If you are missing something, please see Mrs. Vierck in the office.

To those members of NHS who still owe dues of $10, Olivia knows and will find you!  Please find her first and pay your dues before the next meeting on Wednesday.

 

Mariah Goeppinger and Andrea Carolfi should see Mrs. Guldan in the counseling office today.

 

The PSAT roster is posted outside of the counseling office.  Please check the roster to verify a test was ordered for you.  Just a reminder that this test is Wednesday, October 19 at East Gate Alliance Church on Becker Road.  You are responsible for your own transportation. 

 

Congratulations to the top chefs at the Tiger Cookie Bake-off during Friday's events:  First sessions winners were Lilly O'Brien, Samantha Peterson, Roma Shah, Maddie Scheibe, and Sophia Schrodi with their Cran-orange Blitz.  The second sessions' winners were Angus Bump, Andrea Carolfi, Amanda Packard and Amanda Trudeau with their Almond Joy cookie.

 

Congratulations to Ema Fehrenbach and Maisie Cramer our TOP TIGER Award recipients for the week of October 10th. They were nominated by the Art Department. Keep up the good work!

 

Marshfield High School participates in a number of jeopardy-style academic science bowl competitions each year and we generally have several teams competing. Over the years, our successes in these competitions have taken us to Alaska, California, Florida, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Panama.  If you are interested in participating or would just like to learn more about these competitions please attend an informational meeting this Wednesday after school in room 6.  If you are unable to attend let Mr. Herder or Mr. McFarlane know that you are interested.

 

Español 4 esta recogiendo comida para United Way y la programa NOW. Este programa ayuda los niños en pobreza. Necesitamos que dona comida para nuestra causa.  Necesitamos jalea, mantequilla de maní, bolsas de ziploc, cereales, galletas, barras de granola y otros aperitivos. Hay cajas en unos aulas de la escuela.   !Muchas Gracias!

 

Spanish 4 is collecting food for United Way and the NOW )Nutrition on Weekends program.  This program helps childen in need.  We need jelly, peanut butter, Ziploc bags, healthy cereal, crackers, fruit snacks, granola bars and other snacks. There are collection boxes in several classrooms and in the office.  Thank you!

 

Are you interested in studying abroad? Are you interested in hearing about one student's experience in Spain last year? Then come to an informational meeting next Wednesday, October 12th at 3 pm in room 10/11. Scholarship opportunities are available to current sophomore and junior students.
