THURSDAY PM ANNOUNCEMENTS – JANUARY 16, 2020

 

 

Freshmen and sophomores are asked to check in Skyward to verify your semester 2 study hall room locations before semester 2 starts on January 22nd. Many of these have changed since you were given your schedules in the fall.

 

The Winter Blizzard Dance is coming up on Saturday, January 25^th, admission is $10.00 a person. Please remember that if you want to bring a guest from a different school you will need to submit your completed dance form to Ms. Bishop no later than this Friday, January 17^th.

 

Please remember that a completed form is required for every dance this year, even if you are bringing the same guest as the last dance.

 

Are you planning on attending MSTC this fall? There are scholarships available and we have someone to help you complete them! There will be a rep from MSTC in the counseling office TODAY from 9 - noon. Stop down and we'll get you connected!

 

Students who are interested in helping with costumes, makeup, crew, and the cast are requested to attend the parent meeting with a parent representative or just yourself on Monday, January 20th from 5:30-6:00 PM in the auditorium. See Mrs. Leurquin (Lurk-win) in room 1 of you cannot attend but would still like to help with crew. 

 

Students involved in the musical's cast and crew, and Drama Club/Class students and are interested in attending the NYC trip in August 2020 should come and pick up info from Mrs. Leurquin in Room 1 by Wednesday, January 15th. Included in the trip are two Broadway shows, trips to the 9/11 memorial, Radio City Music Hall, Statue of Liberty, Times Square, and artists workshops with the performers in the shows we see on Broadway. Great experiences shared with friends!
