TUESDAY AM ANNOUNCEMENTS – MAY 29, 2019

New Announcements:

Mrs. Reigel's classes are cancelled today. Period 1-3 & 8-9 students in grades 9 & 10 should report to the LMC and students in grades 11 & 12 are to report to the commons. Period 4-7 all students are to report to the LMC.

 

The following students need to check their student email: Zach Gerdes, Trey Montalvo, Kelton Riedel, Sary Bseiso, Ben Dickmann, Damin Escudero-Ramirez, Wyatt Votava, Blair Kelz, Wesley Nelson, Chloe Nowitzke, Brandon Berg, Kristian Schwanebeck, Mateo Picataci

 

The following students need to see Ms. Andrew in the Nurse’s office: Ian Brunson, Jebina Devandas, Abri Fellenz, Emmett Meissner, Brandon Schiferl, Baron Taylor, Tianna Vobora, Jetli Yang, Daisy Conrad, Noah Rottscheit, Lola Teatz

Seniors - you have until 9:00 a.m. on Thursday to let Janet in the office know if you have changed your mind regarding participation in the graduation ceremony on Sunday. Those of you who indicated that you were not going to attend the ceremony received a confirmation email on your school email yesterday.

 

Students are reminded that library books are due today. Seniors, please return all books and check with Mrs. Moore about fines.

 

Sra. Reigel´s students: check canvas. You are responsible for the assigments posted. Also, AP Spanish. You need to go to the library to get the paper you need for your assignment

 

Students in Mr. Messerli’s classes need to bring something to work on today.

 

FFA members are reminded that Adopt-A-Highway is after school today.  Meet at the high school ag room right after school.  We'll leave at 3:20.  After we're done cleaning up the ditches, we'll head to Pizza Hut to treat everyone who helped.  You can have parents pick you up at Pizza Hut about 6 pm.  

 

Summer School Lifeguarding job opportunity: If you are interested in serving as a lifeguard during the summer months please sign up in the office. Students must have the required lifeguarding certification to be qualified and can work up to 4 hours per week.  

 

Congrats to the boys tennis tennis on winning the Wisconsin Valley Conference, making history by winning three years in a row

 

Yearbook distribution will be TODAY, May 29th at 3:10 pm.  No yearbooks will be given out before 3:10. If you have a job or other after school commitments, the yearbooks will be available in the office starting on Thursday, May 30th.  

 

Seniors are reminded that library books were due Friday. Please get books in and fines paid. Obligations are being calculated and will be turned over to the office. For all other students, library books are due tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29th.

 

Spanish Club Members: Today we are reading bilingual children's books to the kids at Madison Elementary after school. We will meet in my room to practice and eat some snacks, then go read at 4:00pm. I hope to see you all there - and bring a friend!

As emailed previously iPad Collection will occur for students in grades 9-11 on June 5th  and June 6th during study hall periods. If you do not have a study hall plan to turn in your device before or after school on June 5th in the LMC. Obligations will be entered for any devices and charging accessories not returned by the end of the day on June 6th.

 

Any damage to the iPad needs to be reported by no later than 3 PM on May 31st  to Mrs. Lewer in the LMC. Any damage not reported by this date will be the responsibility of guardian’s/students and will not be covered under the district damage deductible.

 

Current Varsity Wide Receivers come see Coach Higgins in room 14 at this time.

 

 

Previously Read Announcements:

Seniors who are expecting a gold or blue cord to wear at the graduation ceremony should stop in Room 36 to see Mrs. LeMoine. This means you are a member of NHS with good standing, and/or had a cumulative 3.8 or higher GPA.

 

Musical students are invited to sign the wall after school on Tuesday, May 29th. You must have fulfilled strike hours in order to sign the wall.

 

Any girls planning on going out for volleyball in the fall should attend a brief pre-season meeting on Thursday, May 30, at 7:30 am in room 5.

 

 

There will be a meeting for anyone doing summer strength and conditioning on today in RM 12 after school. You will be signing up for a session to attend. Make sure to bring an iPad or cell phone.
