MONDAY PM ANNOUNCEMENTS – APRIL 8, 2019

 

New Announcements:

Mark your calendars! You must attend one of the 4 AP PreAdministration sessions if you will be taking an AP Exam in May. All pre-administration sessions are in the lecture hall. Dates are: Monday, April 15 at 7 am, Wednesday, April 17 at 3:10 pm, Tuesday, April 23 at 7 am or Thursday, April 25 at 3:10 pm. Which one will you attend? No need to register ahead, just show up.

 

Hey All! Don’t forget to buy your tickets for the spring musical, Into the Woods! Tickets can be purchased with Ms. Meyer in the front office for only $9.00! They Musical is on April 11th, 12th & 13th and curtain is at 7:30! Go support your fellow students and be entertained!!

 

HOSA Students attending SLC next weekend - there will be a MANDATORY meeting tomorrow morning (Tuesday) at 7:30 in room 45. Please see Ms. Marshall if you are unable to attend.

Attention FFA members, please purchase banquet tickets from Mr. Zee or Mr. Heeg by Monday, April 8th.

 

We are looking for two student speakers for graduation day 2019. Seniors who are interested in speaking at the graduation ceremony will need to sign up in the main office and pick up an information sheet with more information. Students who are interested must sign up no later than noon on Friday, April 19th. Additional information will be provided to those who sign up or see Mr. Wilhelm with questions.

 

Thank you to all of the people that donated blood last week.  We had over 60 donors.  The following people were randomly selected to win a prize.  Please stop by Room 78 to claim your prize.

Today is the first day of MCLA’S mental health awareness week, a week dedicated to spotlighting mental health and emotional wellbeing.  While every day is a day of recognition, Marshfield will be taking the opportunity of APRIL, mental health awareness month, to offer activities and resources that are designed to encourage, facilitate, and celebrate mental health. So keep updated on activities, participate, advocate, and celebrate the right for everyone to be happy.

 

Feeling stressed out or overwhelmed? Attend a mindfulness session tomorrow to learn a valuable technique for self-care and coping with stress. Tomorrow staff from the Marshfield Clinic Health System will be at the high school to provide an opportunity for students to learn more about and practice mindfulness. These sessions run every period of the day in the wrestling room. Periods 5A/5B will be combined 11:16-11:41 and periods 6A/6B will be combined 12:05-12:30. All other periods will run the entire class time. Please check-in with your assigned study hall before reporting to the wrestling room for these mindfulness sessions
