The Gay Straight Alliance will have its final meeting Thursday after school in room 10/11. We will wrap up the year and talk about plans for next year. Everyone is welcome to attend.

 

Attention Washington DC students! Mandatory meeting 7:30 This Thursday May 24, 2018. In Mr. Dargenio’s Room. Parents are encouraged to attend as we will be decided travel plans and we will discuss room arrangements.

 

Spanish Club Members: Our last meeting will be this Thursday after school from 3-3:30. We'll eat some food and talk about plans for next year!

 

Seniors are reminded that all iPads and charging accessories need to be returned to room 67. If you did not turn in your iPad and/or charger during the formal collection times you received an obligation for it which can be removed if the iPad and/or charger is returned to room 67.  If you have any obligations that need to be paid you can do so with Mrs. Schreiner in the Main Office.

 

 

Previously Read Announcements:

 

The High School Choirs will present a Spring Concert tonight, beginning at 8:00 p.m.  Choir students should meet in the choir area at 7:45.

 

Students who are interested in representing their class in Student Council next year and have submitted an application form and essay should check the doors on the outside of room 10/11 to verify your name, grade you represent, and desired officer positions are accurate on the ballot.  Voting for these positions will begin at the end of school today and run through the end of the school day on Thursday.

 

Key club will meet Wed 7:30, Rm 45. Meeting topics PDC painting, Dairy Fest, Key Leader & more.

 

The wall signing for 'Anything Goes' will be afterschool today and tomorrow in the auditorium. Students must have their script and have fulfilled their strike hours in order to sign the wall.

 

Students involved in the play and musical are reminded to pick up an invite in Rm. 1 to the Drama Awards Banquet on May 30th. If interested, tickets are 10.00 each for food and drinks at Hotel Marshfield. Election of officers, recap video of the year, awards and 3-show awards are given out at the banquet too.

 

There will be a root beer float sale in the commons after school Tuesday, May 22nd. Make sure to stop down and get one!

 

Seniors - If you have changed your mind and are no longer planning to attend the graduation ceremony, please notify Janet in the office by noon on Thursday so your name can be removed from the marching list. Also, if you originally indicated that you weren't going to attend the ceremony but now want to see Janet by noon on Thursday as well.

 

Madrigal Auditions are set for this Thursday afternoon beginning at 3:30 p.m.  If interested, see Mr. Reierson in the choir room to pick up materials and to sign-up for a 5 minute time slot.

 

Attention all band students: we will have combined rehearsals (5th hour) Monday, May 21st through Thursday, May 24th of this week.

 

Yearbooks will be passed out on Wednesday, May 23rd from 3:00-5:00PM in the High School Cafeteria. If you did not order a yearbook, but would like to purchase one, yearbooks will be available first come first serve for $55. Please make checks payable to Marshfield High School Yearbook.

 

The Boys Track and Field team competed at the Wausau East Regional meet last night.  The following individuals and relays will be advancing on to the sectional meet on Thursday:
