The MHS Science Bowl team has returned from their five-day trip to the Department of Energy "National Science Bowl" event that was held in Washington DC this past weekend.  This was the first time any of the team members had qualified for nationals and they did quite well.  They won four of their seven matches but came up just shy of making the sixteen-team double-elimination bracket.  Lexington, Massachusetts won the sixty-five team event.  Congratulations to Suhaas Bhat, Tara Bhat, David Gui, and Hugh Steiner.  Well done!

Marshfield softball player Megan Donahue has been nominated for the WDLB-WOSQ Radio & MarshfieldAreaSports.com April High School Athlete of the Month Award. Voting begins at midnight Monday night and runs through midnight May 7 at MarshfieldAreaSports.com. Voting is limited to one vote, per 24-hour period, per IP address. Please help spread the word. Thank you.

Attention MHS Staff and Students: Please help out your fellow students and peers by contributing to the In-House Closet Drive, which begins May 1st and will conclude on Friday, May 4th. A group of seniors are organizing a clothing/personal care item drive as part of a Service Learning Project for English class. Collections will help those currently in our building, as well as those in our building next year. This is a great opportunity to pay it forward. Collection boxes will be located in the Commons, Office, Mr. Karrels, Mr. Gerzewski, and Mrs. Lavongsa's room.

Appropriate items include: gently used or new shoes, clothing, (e.g., jackets, jeans, sweatshirts, shorts, t-shirts) toothpaste, tooth brushes, deodorant, etc. Remember just a small donation can make a big difference in the life of another. If you have questions, please direct them to Mrs. Lavongsa in room 3. Thanks so much for your effort to help out.

Students who paid dues in the MHS Drama Club - there will be a meeting afterschool on Friday, May 4th for end of year items including the award ballot for the Drama Club banquet. The meeting will be in Rm. 1 and students involved in the play and musical are invited to vote as long as dues are paid.

Seniors in Drama Club are asked to share their paragraph for senior awards with Mrs. Leurquin by Wednesday, 5/2. It must be emailed or shared via google docs.
