Previously Read Announcements:

Summer school registration for all students will continue today.  You can access registration through the “Summer School 2018” link on the left side of the MHS website.  Slots are filling up fast!  See Ms. Burkhart in the counseling office if you have questions.

 

Please help Marshfield HS student, Elise Ashby, if you can, by donating blood.  We can’t guarantee that your blood will go to Elise, but this blood drive is in her honor as she needs regular blood and blood products to survive right now.  The blood drive is this Saturday, February 3 from 8 am - 1 pm at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, which is on West 5th street in Marshfield.   Email Bob Haws at rmhaws@yahoo.com to reserve an appointment time.

 

Have you ever wondered how the magic of the theater comes to be? Would you like to be one of the magicians? Come to the stage crew meeting February 6^th (Tuesday) after school in the auditorium. Everyone is welcome.

 

Starting Monday, February 5^th, we will be collecting money for Pennies for Patients, a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Student council members will be walking around with boxes and there will be pails on the stage, each assigned to a specific teacher. The top five out of sixteen teachers will be “pied” in the face. Let’s raise some money and pie some teachers!

 

Marshfield boys hockey player Ryan Krueger has been nominated for the WDLB-WOSQ Radio & MarshfieldAreaSports.com January High School Athlete of the Month award.

 

Voting begins at midnight Wednesday night and will run through midnight Feb. 7 at MarshfieldAreaSports.com. Voting is limited to one vote per IP address, per 24-hour period. This may mean mass voting at school, a business or home may not be possible if those places use the same server for the entire building.

 

SkillsUSA will have a meeting Thursday after school in room 82. This is a mandatory meeting if you want to go to Regional competition.

 

Reminder that the HOSA State Leadership Conference registration fee is due this Friday by 3pm!

 

The Gay-Straight Alliance will meet Thursday after school in room 10/11. Come see what we are planning for Valentine's Day.

 

Attention Forensics students: please see Mrs. Lavongsa by this Thursday to turn in your permission slips for our first competition. Also, you need to have your introductions ready to go!

 

FCCLA members who are competing in Regional STAR Events need to get travel forms from Mrs. MacArthur and sign up for work time.
