WEDNESDAY AM ANNOUNCEMENTS – MARCH 6, 2019

 

 

New Announcements:

There was a cell phone turned into the office some time ago, please come describe and claim

 

Boy’s Track and Field report to room 10/11 after school for paperwork check and brief meeting.

 

Mr. Bowman's classes are cancelled today and Mr. Teska's MTSS Math Classes are cancelled - period 4 Pre-Algebra will meet. 1-3 & 8-9 students in grades 9 & 10 should report to the LMC and students in grades 11 & 12 are to report to the commons. Period 4-7 all students are to report to the LMC.

 

All current Pathway Partner Mentoring Program participants, please stop in now to room 135 (the Pathway Partners office) for our monthly meeting.

 

There will be a brief baseball meeting today after school in room 37 for players going out for baseball this spring.   See coach Bauer today if you cannot make it. 

 

There will be a rep from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in the counseling office on today at 11:00.

 

SkillsUSA will have a mandatory meeting for everyone going to SkillsUSA state competition today, March 6th.

 

Attention FFA members, on Thursday, March 7th we will be having our annual teacher/staff and FFA member appreciation luncheon in room 80 during all 4 lunch periods. We will be serving barbecue beef brisket sandwiches, beans, potato salad, cheese curds, milk and many delicious desserts brought by our FFA members. Junior and Senior FFA members please bring desserts to room 80 by 1st hour and Freshman and Sophomores FFA members please bring chips, pickles or side dishes to room 80 by 1st hour.

 

Tonight (3/6) come on down to the Hispanic Culture Fair in the High School commons from 4:30-6:30pm. Spanish IV, IVH, and AP students will be presenting about Hispanic Art and Culture during this free, open-house event for MHS students and the community. There will be food, games, music, and more!

 

Mr. Treankler's Human Geographers traveling to Minneapolis tomorrow are reminded to check their email today for the final itinerary. Happy Fat Tuesday!

AP Students-Upcoming AP Exam Registration Deadline is approaching fast!!! Remember, you only need to turn in one AP Exam Registration form no matter how many AP Exams you plan to take. Completed AP Exam Registration forms and exam costs are due in the counseling office by this Friday, March 8.
