New Announcements:

All orchestra winds students should immediately report to the auditorium for a final rehearsal for the concert tonight. Chamber orchestra students should come to the auditorium at 9:10 this hour.

Yearbook Club Meeting on Tuesday, January 15th at 7:00 am, Room 28!  Yearbook representative will be present, so please be there!  

 

Mr. Aaron Scheuer's classes are cancelled today. Periods 1-3 & 8-9 students in grades 9 & 10 should report to the LMC and students in grades 11 & 12 are to report to the commons. Period 4-7 all students are to report to the LMC. Mr. Carroll's lessons are cancelled today. Bands will meet as usual.

 

The Marshfield academic science bowl team brought home the first place trophy on Saturday from the Department of Energy “Science Bowl” Regional held at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. The team of Suhaas Bhat, Carter Chojnacki, Hugh Steiner, Tara Bhat and Davis Rens, will now travel to Washington DC the last week in April to compete for a national title. Marshfield’s second team consisting of: Sary Bseiso, Jasen Kracht, Joss Grissman, Allie Bacholl, and Kenna Chojnacki also did very well. They went 2-2 in their pool play but did not advance to the championship bracket. Congratulations everyone!

 

The Marshfield High School NASP Archers did a great job representing our school and placed 3rd overall at the Badger State Winter Games this weekend.  Our top 5 High School Archers this weekend were:

McKenzie Wilsmann – 274, Rhiannon Manlick – 271, Joseph Scheuer – 270, Jeremiah Apsey - 267

Lindsey Tyrolt - 264

Congratulations to all our archers in their first competition of the year! 

 

Congratulations to Louisa May & Matthew Freese for being elected TOP TIGERS this week!!

 

International Youth Motivational Speaker Joe Beckman will be at Marshfield High School Thursday, January 31, 2019 at 6-7:30 (doors open at 5:15)

All Students and families are welcome to attend this FREE event.

Free dinner (at 5:30) and childcare will be provided with registration by January 18th.

 

Mindfulness club would like to Share today’s Happy Snack: Happy Monday, get up, get the week started, you got this!

 

Previously Read Announcements:

Attention FFA members. The Bruce Mound trip is next Friday, January 18th. If you plan on attending please pick up permission slip from Mr. Heeg or Mr. Zee and turn it in by next Wednesday.

 

Students are reminded that you can still purchase a 2018-19 yearbook. Order forms are available in the main office.

 

Forensics Students please stop by and see Mrs. Lavongsa after or before school to practice throughout the month of January except for Mondays. Our festival is soon approaching! Prepare early for best results.
