Attention 9th  and 10th graders:  ACT Aspire rosters for next week’s testing are posted outside of the Counseling Office and in your English classrooms.  Freshman will test on Monday and Wednesday, Sophomores on Tuesday and Thursday.  Students testing in the Lecture Hall will need to bring updated and fully charged Ipads with the TestNav app. properly installed.  If you have any questions about installing the app. Contact Mrs. Lewer in Room 67 today.  On test day, report directly to your test site.  Bring something to write with, and you will need a calculator for Monday and Tuesday. Remember this fun fact, “students who get good sleep and eat breakfast before testing, always score higher!”

A reminder to freshmen that locker partner sign up ends Friday at 3:30. Any student who does not sign up will be randomly assigned a locker partner. Check your school email or Skyward for the link to the Google Document. Both students need to request each other as their partner in order to sign up. See Mrs. Vierck in the main office with any questions.

 

On Wednesday, the Marshfield  Economics Challenge teams competed in Eau Claire at the regional competition.  Hugh Steiner earned the top exam score in Microeconomics  and Josh Colby earned the top score in  Macroeconomics . In addition, the team of Aman Bassi, MIchael Reeser, and Josh Colby won the first place overall and will vie for a state title with the other regional winners.

 

Last night the boys’ track team participated in the JV indoor South Championships.

2nd Place Finishes: Ben Claessens 800 m Run, The 4 x 133 m Relay team of Bradley Dickinson, Alejandro Mayagoitia, Brayden Richardson, Malachi Fyksen. 3rd Place Finishes: The 4 x 133 m Relay team of Logan Durham, Simon Baity, Jaiger Halvorson, Garrett Holland

 

There will be no period 2 a.m. announcements read next week due to testing.  Please read them to your class in periods 4 and 5A

Are you taking an AP exam in May? If so, mark your calendar to attend one of the following Pre-Administration events:

Monday, April 16 at 7 am

Wednesday, April 18 at 3:10 pm

Tuesday, April 24 at 7 am

Thursday, April 26 at 3:10 pm

 

Location for all of these pre-administration events is in the HS lecture hall.  If you don't attend one of these 4 dates, you will be charged $5 for one on one pre-administration.  There is no sign up to attend, just come to one of the four dates.

 

Tickets are on sale for the musical 'Anything Goes' - a classic show about the fun and humorous life on an ocean liner cruise. Shows are on Thursday-Saturday, April 12-14th; doors open at 7:00 and show begins at 7:30 PM. Tickets are available in the Main Office or at the door (if any remain) the day of the show. Tickets are also available online at www.showtix4u.com till 4:00 the day of the show. All seats reserved.
