Code Club meets this Friday after school in rm 71.  Our topic is Quantum Computing. The rumor that Mr. Treankler may spring for name brand soda this week is trending on social media.

There will be a UW-Marshfield/Wood County rep in the Counseling Office on Wednesday at 12:15.

 

Our annual food drive begins tomorrow and runs until next week Wednesday, November 15th. As usual, this is a homeroom competition, so bring in as many non-perishable food items as you can! Each day will still have specific items for more points. Wednesday is pasta & peanut butter. Thursday is fruit & veggies. Friday is personal hygiene. Next Monday is boxed goods, and Next Tuesday is canned meats.

 

Reminder: There is a NHS meeting today,Wednesday, November 8, after school in the LMC -- not the lecture hall. Don’t forget to bring a can!

 

The Gay Straight Alliance will meet after school Thursday in the counseling office. Anyone is welcome to attend.

                                                                       

Attention FCCLA members - there will be an important FCCLA meeting after school today, Wednesday.  Please come to sign up for upcoming activities.

 

Murder, mystery, comedy and a little music! Come and see the fall play, 'The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940' this week, Thursday, Nov. 9th, Friday, Nov. 10th, or Saturday, Nov. 11th at 7:30 PM (doors open at 7:00). There's also a matinee show on Saturday at 2:00 PM (doors open at 1:30). Tickets are available in the MHS main office or online at www.showtix4u.com. Students are 6 dollars, and adults are 8 dollars. All seats reserved. Tickets also available at the door on the day of the show. Two different casts on different nights this year: "Ireland" Cast is on Thursday and Saturday night, and "Germany" Cast is on Friday night and Saturday matinee show.
