Marshfield competed in, and won, the Lake Sturgeon Bowl Regional of the National Ocean Science Bowl on Saturday at UW- Milwaukee. The team will now travel to Corvallis, Oregon, April 20-23, to compete at the national event hosted by Oregon State University. Congratulations to: Carter Chojnacki, Suhaas Bhat, Emma Raasch, David Gui, Muhammad Abidi
There will be a meeting for athletes interested in playing baseball for the Marshfield Tigers this spring on Tuesday, February 7th in the Lecture Hall from 3:10-3:30.
Congratulations goes out to FBLA members who competed at the Regional Leadership Conference on Saturday in Nekoosa. All MHS competitors placed in the Top 10 of their events!! The following students placed in the Top 3 and will be moving on to the State Level of Competition in Appleton:

Marshfield boys’ basketball player Ethan Posteluk has been nominated for the WDLB-WOSQ Radio & MarshfieldAreaSports.com January High School Athlete of the Month award. Voting begins at midnight Tuesday night and runs through midnight Feb. 7. Click on the Athlete of the Month banner and cast your vote. Voting is limited to one vote, per IP address, per 24-hour period. For example, if you vote at noon, you would not be allowed to vote from that same IP address until 12:01 p.m. the next day.
For any student who does not currently qualify for free and reduced lunch at MHS but still needs financial assistance when paying for AP exams please complete a Blanchard Scholarship application and turn the completed application to Mrs. Burkhart in the counseling office by the end of day, Feb. 17. The scholarship application can be found online at AP website which is on the School District's website, by talking with your AP teacher or by contacting the counseling office.
This scholarship was created by a Marshfield graduate who strongly believes in the importance of the AP program and has been positively impacted in his collegiate studies and professional career.
A rep from the University of Wisconsin Colleges will be in the counseling office on Monday during the lunch hours.
